Thanksgiving is coming up soon – and that means wonderful meals. For most families, that means turkey or ham. And, we all need a nice sharp knife to do the carving of the turkey – or the slicing of the ham.
Everyone knows how frustrating to get ready for a holiday dinner – only to have problems slicing the main dish because of a dull knife.
RADA Cutlery makes a perfect knife for this job. The RADA Ham Slicer is just what you need. This knife has an overall length of almost 14″ and the blade is 9 1/2″. That will do slicing on whatever meat you are serving.
With the holidays coming – it’s just what you need. You’ll amaze your family and guests with the ease that you do the carving with your Ham Slicer.
And, as with all RADA Cutlery, these knives are super sharp and will hold their edge! Also, RADA gives you a lifetime guarantee on their knives.
Happy Carving and Slicing!

This is the time of the year that you start getting those yummy fresh grapefruits and oranges from Florida. I know that I always look forward to my winter citrus!
And, RADA Cutlery makes exactly what you need for your fruit – their Grapefruit Knife! This knife is super for making it easier to get into your fruit.
First of all, this knife is made by RADA Cutlery. So, you know that it is super sharp and is quality made. But, the greatest thing about this knife is the angled tip. It’s curved (just like your grapefruit or orange) and is serrated on both sides of the blade. This makes it easy to separate the individual sections. The Grapefruit Knife is much easier and definitely less messy to use than a regular grapefruit spoon!
It’s time to get your fruit – and it’s definitely time to get your RADA Cutlery Grapefruit Knife to make it a lot easier to enjoy!
Til next time!

RADA Cutlery doesn’t come out with new knives very often – so you know it’s something special when they do. Well, they’ve just come out with a super new knife – the Serrated Regular Paring Knife.
They’ve taken the Regular Paring Knife (which is their #1 Seller) and added Super Fine Serrations to it! Talk about sharp! I didn’t think you could ever improve the Regular Parer – but they did. The addition of the Super Fine Serrations was developed for cooks who like using serrated blades. This makes a zippy-saw-cutting action when you cut, slice and peel.
The New Serrated Regular Paring Knife is the exact same size as the smooth edged Regular Paring Knife – the blade is 3 1/4″ and overall the knife is 6 3/4″. This is a great addition to the RADA Cutlery line- especially to those of us who LOVE serrated blades!

RADA Cutlery has a utensil that I absolutely love! It’s the Serrated Pie Server.
The Serrated Pie Server is 4 1/2″ X 2 3/8″ and over length is 9 1/2″. It has a triangle face that is serrated on both sides, so that is used easily by both left- and right-handers. And believe me, it is sharp!
This makes it great for cutting and serving pies, round cakes and even pizza. I have used this many, many times – it will cut right through a pie crust with no problem. No need to slice and then get something else to serve with. The Serrated Pie Server does it both with style!
As with all of RADA Cutlery items, it has a lifetime guarantee from RADA Manufacturing.
If you entertain – or just for yourself – this is a great utensil to have around!
Till next time!

RADA Cutlery makes different types of knives for different things you need to do around the kitchen. Sometimes you can get confused as to what knife you need to use for what project.
Here is a short run-down for you!
French Chef - an all-purpose knife. The larger curved blade allows you to rock the knife on the cutting board for a more precise cut.
Paring Knife – a smaller knife that is ideal for peeling and other smaller jobs. RADA makes several different types of paring knives: Granny Parer, Peeling Paring, Regular Parer, Heavy Duty Parer and Super Parer. The Heavy Duty Parer and Super Parer are my personal favorites.
Utility Knife - a knife that is between a slicer and paring knife in size. A great all-around knife.
Bread Knife - this knife has a blade with tiny serrations that makes it perfect for cutting bread and other foods with a hard surface and soft interior.
Carving Knife - a larger knife that is used to slice different types of meats.
Slicing Knife - used to slice meats, fruits and vegetables. Slicers can have plain or serrated edges.
Cook’s Knife – shaped like a modern Japanese knife. It is smaller and more manageable for some than a chef’s knife. The cutting angle allows it to more easily slice meats and vegetables thin.
That is a quick over-view of the different types of RADA Cutlery’s knives. Whatever slicing need you have, RADA has the knife for you.
Till next time!

Summer time is here and all kinds of fresh fruit are available! RADA Cutlery makes some great dips for fruits. One of my favorites is the Island Coconut Sweet Dip.
This dip is a delicious sweet blend of coconut and pineapple. It makes a great complement to fresh fruit. You can use it as a fruit dip, layered with berries for a fruit parfait or used as the sauce on a fruit pizza. It has worked wonderfully with any fruit I’ve used it with – pineapple, cantaloupe, strawberries.
As with all of RADA’s food mixes – it is a cinch to make. Take the ingredients in the package and mix it with sour cream and cream cheese – then refrigerate. That’s it! And, if you don’t like sour cream or cream cheese, don’t fret. My husband hates both and can eat this dip with a spoon!
RADA’s Island Coconut Sweet Dip is wondeful - great for a snack with the family or for entertaining. Try some – I’m sure you’ll like it!
Till next time!

Let’s take a break from talking about the great RADA Cutlery Knife Products. RADA also makes absolutely wonderful food mixes! Their food mixes are easy to make and taste marvelous!
My favorite food mix is the Sweet Hot Pepper Jelly Cheeseball. I have been known to eat a whole one by myself – over a couple of days! I love this product!
The Sweet Hot Pepper Jelly Cheeseball has the taste of sweet pepper jelly poured over cream cheese. They’ve blended sweet and hot peppers for a mild flavor.
Here’s how easy they are to make. Take the mix and add to an 8 ounce block of softened cream cheese. Form into a ball and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set. Then roll the cheeseball in the chile topping (which is also included) and that’s it! Serve and enjoy!
The RADA Sweet Hot Pepper Jelly Cheeseball is perfect for entertaining – and, if you’re like me, good for lunch for a couple of days!
Till next time!

RADA Cutlery’s Cheese Knife is a must have if there is a cheese lover in your house!
The Cheese Knife is 9 3/4″ long with a blade of 5 1/4″. The angled handle provides leverage which makes it very easy to use. It cuts both hard and soft cheese with ease with it’s specially serrated blade.
The ridges in the blade separates the cheese as it is cut. There are cutouts in the blade which reduces resistance and makes it glide right through your cheese. The Cheese Knife’s blade also has a forked end for serving your guests.
And, as with all RADA knives, the Cheese Knives are made in the USA and have sharp, surgical quality stainless steel blades.
This is a handy knife to have around the house – to make your cheese slicing easier!
